Red velvet lava cake

Red velvet plus lava cake? Yes, please! This classic dessert is made in its original version. As much as I love healthy desserts, I LOVE desserts lol (in every version). So this red velvet lava cake is following a classic recipe.



Dry ingredients

  • 40 gr of flour

  • 12 gr of cacao powder


Wet ingredients

  • 80 gr white chocolate

  • 40 gr of butter

  • 40 gr of sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 egg yolk

  • 8 drops of red food coloring

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter with the white chocolate and mix.

  2. In another bowl whisk the eggs until their are fluffy and lighter color.

  3. Keep mixing and add the sugar, red food coloring and vainilla.

  4. Add the butter and white chocolate mixture and whisk.

  5. Add the sifted dry ingredients and mix the gently with a spatula.

  6. Grease your ramekin molds and place the mixture leaving 1/4 of the ramekin free.

  7. Bake at 190 for 13 minutes exactly. This worked for me, but it might change depending on the power of your oven.
