This recipe looks so pretty that it is perfect for a date night in dessert. You can add caramel, chocolate or even jam!

Ingredients
5 apples
1 package of puff pastry
1 egg
coconut sugar to taste
cinnamon to taste
icing sugar to taste
Instructions
Cut the apples in half, remove the seeds and place them in a half moon to cut thin and as even slices as possible.
Place water with the juice of a lemon in a bowl and add your slices there immediately, this is to prevent them from oxidizing.
In a small bowl beat an egg.
Spread your puff pastry and form a rectangle. Then cut strips making vertical cuts along the puff pastry.
Take the apples out of the water, remove excess water with a cloth napkin, and place them back in another bowl or plate.
Put them in the microwave for 30 seconds so they soften and you can shape them better. Have your dough, egg, sugar and cinnamon ready.
Add brushes of egg on your strip of dough (just to give it color) and add the sugar and cinnamon.
Then place the apple crescents on the edge of the strip, one on top of the other, leaving one side of the strip without apple.
Fold that side to cover the apples and then wrap carefully.
Add the roses to a cupcake mold and bake at 180ºC for 35-40 minutes.
Once ready, take them out of the mold when they are still relatively hot and add powdered sugar or caramel on top and that's it!
